Stonewall Chico Pride is the largest LGBTQ+ event between Sacramento and the Oregon border and one of Butte County's biggest annual festivals. It’s a vibrant celebration of diversity, bringing together and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Spanning four days, Chico Pride offers a variety of events for all ages, identities, and interests. Each year, it attracts between 5,000 and 7,000 attendees.
Traditionally held in August or September, this year's Chico Pride will take place in June.
The event is organized by a dedicated team of approximately 20 volunteers, community partners, and members of the Stonewall Alliance staff, board, and interns. It is led by Stonewall’s Event Coordinator and hosted by Stonewall Alliance Chico, the region’s nonprofit LGBTQ+ center.
